Austria is the fourth richest country in the EU and has a well-developed market economy, skilled labor force, and high standard of living. Its economy is closely tied to other EU economies, especially Germany’s. Austria’s economy features a large service sector, a sound industrial sector, and a small, but highly developed agricultural sector. Surrounded by eight neighboring countries, Austria’s central location makes it an ideal place to conduct business both within Western Europe and into Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Already more than 1000 global companies coordinate their activities from Austria.
This seminar is targeted to companies interested in increasing their knowledge about the Austrian market and consider expanding their activities in Central and Eastern Europe.
The event is co-organized by Business Finland, Finland Chamber of Commerce, Finnish-Austrian Economic Forum, Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, and Enterprise Europe Network.
