The main goal of the event is to take stock of the present cooperation, share best practices and identify new avenues for future collaboration between the two countries in this sector. The event is being organised in cooperation with Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

This is a rare opportunity to visit CSSC Wärtsilä joint venture and see what digital manufacturing looks like in diesel and dual-fuel engine manufacturing.

FBCS is delighted to invite you to join us for a half day of presentations and factory tour at CSSC Wärtsilä joint venture in Lingang. Wärtsilä established the joint venture with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) in 2016 and it has been led by Managing Director Jonny Nylund for the previous four years. In his presentation Jonny will introduce Wärtsilä, tell more on Wärtsilä's journey in China and share further information on joint venture operations.

During the factory tour you will be introduced to digital manufacturing in diesel and dual-fuel engine manufacturing. The focus at Wärtsilä is on making every effort to support their customers by improving efficiencies, lowering operating costs and lessening the carbon footprint of operations.

After the insightful morning we will enjoy a nice lunch together at Wärtsilä canteen.

We have organized bus transportation starting at People´s Square Metro Station, at the entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel New World at 8:30 AM. Please note that we will leave at 8:30 sharp. The bus will take you back to the People´s Square Metro Station after the visit.
